Finally seen this one as well ... a bit weird like Apartment Zero but definitely better than Nostromo. I was just a bit taken aback when I rediscovered that Marie Trintignant is already dead ... and very much surprised that "die Kaiser" i.e. Ellen Umlauf was in the cast as well.

Have seen it and liked it. It's more a kid's film but then as an Afirthionado one doesn't really mind!

Unbelievable but true: the autumn film festival in Vienna has Apartment Zero in it's programme. Made in 1988 the film is a British - Argentinian co-production. Nothing really breathtaking except for CF of course. I watched a video of this film some time ago when a friend and I endeavoured to watch every single CF film.

Check out this and you might get to see the preview of the new P&P - although I doubt that the new Mr Darcy will be as dashing as the last one!

Can it be? Can it really, really be that there soon is to be a new film version of P&P? Starring Keira Knightley and Dame Judy Dench. The male main part ... well, never heard of Matthew MacFadyen although he's apparently appeared in "Enigma".
